{Nuggets of Wisdom} His peace for you this week.
His Peace.
It seems so simple, nonetheless it has such a profound impact. His peace will comfort you. His peace with keep you. It will help you stay grounded, calm, and inclined to rest. But clearly, I need to back up a bit and tell you how I got to this revelation for the week.
I’m so full of lessons at this point in my life. Sheesh! It can feel so overwhelming, but I’m grateful that God is making it crystal clear what’s most important in life.
It’s not about having more.
A platform doesn’t matter.
Your relationship status doesn’t define you.
A career or a new home won’t make you content.
Even so, I’m kicking and screaming most days trying to figure life out. However, I find so much peace in knowing it’s not all about me (or all on me). Friend the same is true for you. God can and will bring peace and rest to the storms of your life. Ask me how I know? He has done this for me.
I pray His peace for you this week.
Above all; before success, before financial gain, before the new venture, before you start the project, it is my prayer that God gives you peace and from it you ultimately find rest.
Having peace will sustain you before any monetary or social standard ever will. Life can be incredibly hard. Our individual journey’s are full of ups, downs, twists and turns already. Sometimes we add to that my creating imbalanced lives and setting up unrealistic standards.
Then comes the stress, lack of rest, no real connection to community and we wonder why our bodies & minds feel so terrible. Then we wonder why.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
John 14:27
Jesus calls us to rest. Undoubtedly, we should find our rest in Him. Jesus has the power to do the impossible. We can rest in His knowledge of the unknown. Additionally, we find solitude in His protection despite the challenge. So this week, no matter what you are dealing with I pray for the peace of Jesus to surround you and fill you with rest.
A Prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for today. Thank you for the gift of a new day filled with new mercies and new grace. God I ask you to touch my life with your super natural peace. Let the power of your healing peace touch my heart right now. I ask you to help me to see my life through your eyes. Help me to accept the wonderful blessings that you have already given me, and give me the wisdom to be content. God, with those places that are unknown and uncertain to me, I ask that you calm my fears. Restore my hope and clear my anxious thoughts. You are all I want and all I need. No matter what my circumstances say, God I seek to rest in the peace of Jesus. In Jesus’ Name Amen!
